We Believe in Change
As a Bible-based Christian church, New Wineskin Ministries holds to the teachings found in the Bible. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the greatest authority in our lives. We believe in one eternal God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God’s son, Jesus, was born of a virgin, fully God and man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and rose from the dead. We believe He is now seated at the right hand of God until He returns to make everything new. We believe that because of Jesus, we can be forgiven for everything we’ve done wrong and be given the gift of eternal life. To do this, a person must believe that Jesus is God’s son, confess him as Lord of your life, and be baptized. Then, a person is given the gift of the Holy Spirit, who actively works to allow believers to live a Godly life.
There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

GOD
Who is the Everlasting and Sovereign Ruler of
the universe. He is the Eternal King, the infinite,
unchangeable Spirit, perfect in holiness
wisdom, goodness, justice, power and love.
From all eternity, He exists as the One Living
and True God.

THE BIBLE
which is the inspired, unchanging, and infallible
Word of God. It is our source for instruction,
guidance, correction, and training in
righteousness. The sixty-six books of the Old
and New Testament are fully the Word of God
and were originally written by men who were
moved upon by the Holy Spirit.
II Tim. 3:16-17 // Matt. 4:4 // Deut 8:3
JESUS CHRIST
Who is the everlasting King of kings and Lord of
Lords. Jesus Christ, the Son God, was born of a
virgin, and is the full expression of the invisible
God in visible and bodily form. Jesus is both
fully God and fully man, yet without sin.
Matt. 1:1,17 // Jn. 1:1- 3,14 // Phil. 2:6-8
DEPRAVITY OF MAN
This is a condition in which all of humanity is by
nature morally corrupt, as the result of the
disobedience of Adam and thus outside of
fellowship with God. As God’s enemies, we
deserve eternal punishment and can be saved
only by the spotless blood of Jesus Christ.
Rom. 3:9, 23 // Matt. 26:17-28 // Mk. 14:22-24
SALVATION
A sinner may receive the gift of salvation by
repenting of his/her sins, and by believing and
confessing that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord
of his/her life. Salvation in by grace alone
through faith in Jesus Christ alone for the glory
of God alone
Matt 3:1-2 // Mk. 1:4. 16:15 // Lk. 3:1-9
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Who is our Comforter and the Spirit of Truth. He
presently works in two ways. First, He has
come to baptize believers into the body of
Christ, live within them, and to empower them
to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ in the
course of their daily lives. Second, the Holy
Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness
, and judgment. A. We believe that all believer
s should experience the baptism of the Holy
Spirit, which is initially accompanied by
speaking in other tongues. B. We believe in the
gifts of the Holy Spirit.
